Some deepfake videos of Bollywood stars have spread online during the Lok Sabha elections in India. And with this the fuss started.

In these videos, the two Bollywood superstars are seen criticizing the country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi. At the same time, they are calling on the opposition party Congress to vote in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections.

Among the two viral videos, a 30-second video of Aamir Khan and a 41-second video of Ranveer Singh. In the video, the two superstars are heard saying that Modi has failed to fulfill his election promises. Besides, in the last two terms of power, he could not take any effective steps to prevent the economic crisis.

The AI-generated video ends with Congress symbols and slogans. It is said ‘Vote is a right, vote for Congress’.

Police have also filed a case with Mumbai Police over Aamir’s viral deepfake video. It is said that an operation has been started to catch those connected with this incident.
