Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Jawan’ set multiple records at the box office after its theatrical release. The film did not end there. This time, the film produced by Atlee Kumar has shown its strength on the internet. It has set the record for highest views after its release on streaming platform Netflix. That too in just two weeks.
The extended version of ‘Jaawan’ was released on Netflix on November 2. After that, the audience is eager to see the film. As a result, it is now India’s most viewed film on Netflix. The platform authorities informed this in a message on Tuesday (November 21).
Their message reads, “Vikram Rathore (name of Shahrukh’s character in the film) has hijacked our hearts and records. ‘Jaawan’ is now the most watched film in India among all language films, that too in just two weeks of its release.”
Meanwhile, Shahrukh Khan himself is happy with such news. Said, “I am thrilled to announce this news. We have released the extended version of ‘Jaawan’ as a token of appreciation for the overwhelming love of the audience towards the film. The audience response from Netflix reaffirms the strength of our Indian cinema. I am proud of this achievement.”

Shah Rukh is currently busy promoting his new movie ‘Dunky’. The film, directed by Nandit filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani, will release on December 22.
