Later, inspired by Kumar Gaurav’s character Akshay in a film, he adopted the name Akshay Kumar and changed his name to Akshay Hariom Bhatia. His big break came when he missed a flight for an ad shoot in Bangalore. Then, disillusioned, he took his portfolio to a film studio and was offered the lead role in a film.
