Remembering them, Ferdous wrote on his social handle, “I miss Basu da, Basu Chatterjee; To my friend, my guru, my mentor, my director, my ‘sudden rain’ maker. Stay well Basu Da. If Priyanka, June, Srilekha, Manoj Da, Nachiketa Da (music director of the film) and the crew of the film were present, the event would have been complete. Without you, ‘Sudden Rain’ would not have happened.”
It is to be noted that this ‘Sudden Rain’ is a remake of the Tamil film ‘Kadhal Kattai’ which won India’s National Film Award in 1996. However, the story and production made the film a record grosser in Bangladesh and West Bengal.Priyanka and Ferdous
