‘Kabuliwala’ Mithun is coming to Kolkata this Christmas. Mithun Chakraborty is appearing in the theaters of Kolkata carrying the script of Kabiguru’s historical short story ‘Kabuliwala’. After a long time, Mithun’s arrival in Kabuliwala guise has created a new enthusiasm among the fans.
Mithun Chakraborty is playing the role of Kabuliwala in this film. The film is directed by Suman Ghosh. Suman Ghosh had previously made a film ‘Nobel Chor’ with Mithun. On the theft of Kabiguru’s Nobel medal in Santiniketan. And now he is making ‘Kabuliwala’.

Actor Abir Chattopadhyay is playing the role of Mini’s father Arvind and actress Sohini Sarkar is playing the role of Mini’s mother. The film is produced by Geo Studios and SVF Entertainment.
Earlier in 1957, famous actor Phir Biswas played the role of Rahmat in the film ‘Kabuliwala’ produced by famous director Tapan Sinha. Aindrila Tagore played the role of Mini.
Again in 1961, Balraj Sahani played the role of Kabuliwala in the Hindi film ‘Kabuliwala’ directed by Bimal Roy. Actor Manna played the role of Kabuliwala in the film ‘Kabuliwala’ made in Bangladesh in 2006.
