Artist came from stage to film. She made her film debut as Shabnaaz’s girlfriend in the movie Anuptaap. She later made her debut as a heroine opposite Amin Khan in Mohammad Hossain’s ‘Banglar Commando’ (1995). But came into discussion after working in ‘Priyajan’ (1996) opposite Salman Shah. Despite not getting commercial success, the artist got well known with this film.
