I could not return home on Diwali because I was studying shooting outside the country. But after my father died, I realized that there is no more Diwali to spend time with him. “
Talking about how her perception of life changed, Priyanka said, “When my father became seriously ill, I realized that life is too short. Leaving the important things we are busy with trivial things! But we have bigger things to worry about.”
Priyanka’s father Ashok Chopra died of cancer in 2013. He was a doctor in the Indian Army.
Priyanka Chopra said that she was mentally disturbed after the death of her father.
