Sunny said, “The whole world works like this. Everyone wants their film to be successful. Not an individual, the whole society is like this now. Everyone is moving forward with this idea. The world moves on ideas. Again the idea is slowly becoming a reality.”

Sunny further said, “Bolly industry has accepted that ‘Gadar 2’ is a bona fide blockbuster. How many people loved the film. How many places has the film released in ‘single screen’? And there is no mistake in box office numbers. Everything is real. The number has not been increased unnecessarily.”

On Karan’s show, Sunny said, “The audience flocked to watch ‘Gadar 2’. Ticket prices have not been increased accordingly. So ‘Gadar 2’ is a true blockbuster.”

However, director Anil’s comments are different. In an old interview, Anil said that filmmakers themselves cut a lot of tickets to increase the film’s business.

According to Anil, the number of a film’s business at the box office is also played with. Anil claims that fake numbers are shown in box office earnings.

Anil said, “If a film does business, the audience goes to see it, then ‘Housefull’ will also be there.” Eyewitness evidence is available. As huge audiences went to see ‘Gadar 2’, the theaters were also thronged.”

Anil claims that if a film is not a hit in the Bollywood industry, filmmakers keep adopting different methods. Many filmmakers show fake box office numbers to cheat the audience and protect themselves, the director claims.

Anil says, “When filmmakers start showing fake numbers, it affects the next film. Because so many viewers do not come to see the film. Everything is false. This behavior of filmmakers is ultimately harming the film industry.”
