New Bengali Movie | Actor Ritwick Chakraborty speaks about his character in his new film Ektu Sore Boshun dgtl

He once wrote the screenplay of the comedy film ‘Natbar Not Out’. Kamleswar Mukherjee directed a comedy film after a long time. Ritvik Chakraborty is the director’s trump card in this film called ‘Ektu Saree Basoon’.

The teaser of the film has been released. Earlier, Hrithik also played the lead role in Kamleswar’s ‘Good Night City’. Kamleswar’s film, it’s also a comedy! What did Ritvik think after the proposal? The actor laughed and said, “It’s just the kind of films that Kamalda does, this film has nothing to do with it.” I wasn’t too surprised. Because a long time ago, Kamalda told me that she wanted to make a film based on a short story of Banphool. Very good experience.”

Hrithik’s look is made with one head of hair in this film. He looks different. While a large section of the industry is obsessed with hairstyles, Hrithik but Divya dazzles the audience with one picture after another of her original look. “I don’t really care,” laughed the actor. I decided long ago that the day it interfered with my work I would be upset. But that never happened, so I’m still there.”

The director wants to highlight various social problems behind metaphors in this film. Ritvik admitted that the number of comedy films in Bengal has decreased. In his words, “At one point I did films like ‘Cross Connection’ and ‘Wedding Diaries’. But now there are no romcoms either.” Talking about social satire, the actor thinks that after ‘Bhooter Bhavadi’, not many such social comedy films have been made. At the same time, Hrithik believes that sticking to a formula is a problem. In his words, “The audience likes this type of film. But the effort to bring it back is difficult! I once heard that there are no thrillers in Bengal. Who wanted to bring back. Now I can see what the condition of the industry is in the crowd of thrillers!

Right now Hrithik is busy shooting for ‘Kalank’ web series. Produced under the supervision of Sahana Dutt, this series stars Raima Sen opposite Hrithik. Apart from this, he will also start shooting for director Indrashis Acharya’s film ‘Gajon Dhulobali’.
