Bollywood Update | Rohit Shetty’s Singham 3 is reportedly based on Ramayana dgtl

‘Adipurush’ was released earlier this year. Directed by Om Raut, the film starred Southern star Prabhas and Bollywood actress Kriti Shannon in lead roles. The screenplay of the film was based on ‘Ramayana’. The director wanted to present the story of ‘Ramayan’ in a modern twist. The expectations of the audience around the film were also high. But ‘Adipurush’ poured water on all those hopes. After the film was released in theatres, the halls could not be filled despite adopting multiple ticket sales strategies. The box office business is at the bottom compared to the film’s budget. Even after such a large-scale film A Hen Vharadubi, Bollywood did not change its mind from ‘Ramayan’. Nitesh Tiwari is now busy with ‘Ramayan’. Ranveer Kapoor is going to be seen in the role of Sri Ramachandra in that film. This time, not only Nitesh Tiwari, Rohit Shetty is going to make a film based on ‘Ramayan’.

Rohit had been enjoying the thief-police game for so long. From ‘Singham’ to ‘Simmba’, ‘Suryavanshi’, Rohit has produced films. He is behind the ‘Cop Universe’ i.e. police universe in Bollywood. However, this time Rohit is slightly moving away from the thief-police story. Although he does not want to get out of his familiar table. So Rohit is tying the story of ‘Ramayana’ in that mold. The name of the film is ‘Singham 3’. It is heard that Ajay Devgan will be seen in a character based on Ram’s ideology. Akshay Kumar will be seen in the role of Laxman. And Ranveer Singh’s character will be similar to Hanuman.

Not only that, Kanaghusho, Kareena Kapoor Khan’s character in ‘Singham 3’ will be seen as Sita. On the other hand, Arjun Kapoor will be seen in a Khal character i.e. a character modeled after Ravana. Speculations about ‘Singham 3’ have already started, but Rohit himself has not yet opened his mouth about the story of the film. It is heard that the director wants to surprise the audience in the theatre.
