Russian President Vladimir Putin has warned that the West will be resisted with all its might to protect the country. He ordered to increase the number of the army of Ukraine to join the army in reserve.

In a televised address on Wednesday (September 21), Putin gave the order.

In response, Mykhailo Podoliak, adviser to the President of Ukraine, said that Putin’s instructions were understandable to them.

Podoliak said the war was clearly not going according to Russia’s plan. So Putin has to make very unpopular decisions to limit people’s rights.

Meanwhile, British Foreign Minister Gillian Keegan has expressed concern that Putin’s announcement will intensify the war in Ukraine.

After Putin’s comments, the price of the Russian currency, the ruble, fell in the world and the price of oil also increased.
