15th century government property worth about Tk 10 crore has been recovered in East Nasirabad area under Panchlaish police station of Chittagong city. District Administration Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Executive Magistrate on Tuesday afternoon. This property was recovered in the operation led by Umar Farooq. Assistant Inspector Subhra Mukul of Panchlaish police station was present at this time.

It is known that the properties are in the name of the Bangladesh government (as government property) in the name of Abangali Neshar Ahmad Ping-Abdul Quader Sang-unknown, the last BS survey is final in Khatian No. 629. Regarding this land, the Land Appeal Board (Full Board) case No. 4-155/17 Tang- 20/06/2022 was ruled in favor of the government. Despite the verdict, the land grabbers continued construction on the land. On receiving this news, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Umar Farooq led the operation. The sign board was hanged as government property after taking possession of the land in the campaign. At this time, he ordered to remove the illegal construction materials.
