Environment Minister said that no one can destroy communal harmony in Bangladesh. Shahab Uddin Durga Puja is ahead. Bangladesh rioted during Durga Puja last year. In Cumilla, there was an uproar over the incident at the puja mandap. And this time before Durga Puja, the Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change of Bangladesh gave a message of harmony. He said, “People of different religions and castes have been living together in Bangladesh for ages. Here at various times communal forces have tried to destroy this harmony. Despite their efforts, no one can destroy communal harmony.” Along with that, he said that strict measures will be taken against those who try to destroy communal harmony. Administration and Awami League will take strict action against them from their position.

On Monday, he said this as the chief guest at the harmony rally organized by Baralekha and Juri upazila administrations of Moulvibazar. However, Shahab Uddin was not present at the event. Therefore, division and violence cannot be created between people in the name of religion.” He claimed that communal harmony was never lost in Baralekha and Juri upazilas. It will not happen in the coming days either. He also said that it will be ensured that everyone can practice their own religion peacefully in the future.
