The Air Force chief returned home after his visit to the United States
Dhaka, September 20, 2022 (BASS): Bangladesh Air Force chief Air Chief Marshal Sheikh Abdul Hannan returned to the country on Monday after his visit to the United States.
The Chief of the Air Force along with three traveling companions went to the United States on an official visit on September 13 at the invitation of the Chief of the United States Air Force, General Charles Q. Brown Jr.
During the visit, Bangladesh Air Force Chief held a courtesy meeting with US Air Force Chief General Charles Q. Brown Jr. at the Pentagon and exchanged views on issues related to bilateral interests.
He then participated in the ‘International Air Chiefs Conference’ organized by the United States Air Force in Washington DC. Air force chiefs and senior officers from around 50 countries attended the conference.
In the conference various important issues including various issues, providing effective leadership, conducting operational activities in the age of information technology, following a healthy culture were discussed in the various programs.
Later, the Bangladesh Air Force Chief visited the air show organized by the US Air Force on the occasion of the 75th founding anniversary of the US Air Force.
It is expected that the existing cordial relations between Bangladesh and the United States will be strengthened through this visit of the Air Force Chief.
