Jamaat is always uncompromising in building a democratic Bangladesh: Salim Uddin

Jamaat-e-Islami has always been uncompromising in building a democratic Bangladesh free from hunger, poverty and discrimination by turning the country into an Islamic welfare state, said Muhammad Salim Uddin, member of the Central Executive Council of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and Ameer of Dhaka Metropolitan North.

He said these things while speaking as the chief guest at a member gathering organized by Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka Metropolitan North Sherbangla Nagar North Police Station in an auditorium in the capital on Friday.

Under the chairmanship of Thana Amir Abdul Awal Azam and Secretary Azizur Rahman, Dhaka Metropolitan North Working Council member Ziaul Hasan was present as a special guest in the gathering. Abdul Halim, Hafez Shajahan and others were also present.

Salim Uddin said, Allah has bought the life and property of the believer in exchange for paradise. We have a contract with Allah in this regard. And in the proper observance of the terms of this agreement lies the welfare of man in this time and the liberation of the hereafter. Therefore, there is no alternative to properly follow the laws of Allah and the ideals of the Prophet (peace be upon him) in every aspect of life. Basically, the goal and objective of Jamaat politics is to create that environment in the social state.

He called on the party leaders and workers to use all their strength in the movement to turn the country into an Islamic welfare state based on justice.

He said, the worldly life of man is very temporary; Eternal life hereafter. In the hadith, the Prophet (peace be upon him) compared this world to the orchards of the Hereafter. Basically, the life of the world is the gathering place of the paths of the Hereafter. Just as Allah will reward us in the Hereafter if we do good deeds in this world, in the same way we have to face punishment for bad deeds.

Metropolitan Amir said that the government has destroyed the country’s democracy and democratic values. They came to power through repeated fraud and conspiracies and could not give the people anything but misrule. The government intends to come to power in the future in the same manner and through alleged digital rigging through EVM machines. But the conspiracies of the conscious public government will never succeed. He urged the government to check public opinion by holding elections under caretaker government immediately for a free, fair and acceptable election. Otherwise, the people will get the mass demand through the mass movement of Durbar – InshAllah. – Notice
