The Communist Party of Bangladesh (Marxist) has demanded an end to Myanmar’s attacks on Bangladesh border areas and the return of Rohingyas to their country.

The party held a rally and protest march on this demand in front of the National Press Club of the capital on Friday at 10 am.

The assembly was presided over by Comrade Dr., President of the Communist Party of Bangladesh (Marxist). MA Samad, General Secretary Comrade Sahidur Rahman, Joint General Secretary Comrade Talebul Islam, Central Member Comrade Zahid Ansari, Comrade Tarek Islam, Comrade Noor Afsana Nipa etc.

After the rally, a protest march circumambulated the National Press Club area.

Comrade Dr. in the speech of the president. MA Samad said that countries like Myanmar are showing courage to show brutality on Bangladesh border. We note with concern that Myanmar is firing mortar shells inside Bangladesh, firing and gathering troops in border areas.

He also said that today 1.4 million Rohingya are staying in Bangladesh, it is creating various problems including peace and security of the country. However, the government has not been able to send them back to their own country so far. The government has completely failed in this regard.
