BNP will hold rally in 16 places

The Report Correspondent: BNP has decided to hold a rally in 16 places in north and south of Dhaka city. The party will hold this rally to protest fuel price increase, load shedding, increase in public transport fare, increase in the price of daily necessities, killing of Juba Dal Shaon in Narayanganj by police and Chhatra Dal leader Noor Alam and volunteer leader Abdur Rahim in Bhola.
On Wednesday (September 7), the North BNP sent a letter informing the Dhaka Metropolitan Police Commissioner about the matter. The party has been organizing programs in union, ward, upazila, thana and municipal councils since August 22 with the same demand.
South BNPO will also write a letter on Thursday (September 8). The rally will start from September 10 and end on September 27. Among these, South BNP will hold programs on even dates and North BNP on odd dates. Senior leaders including BNP secretary general and standing committee members are supposed to attend these gatherings as guests.
Dhaka Metropolitan North BNP Member Secretary Aminul Haque said, Dhaka Metropolitan North BNP has been divided into eight zones. There will be a rally in each zone area. A letter has been sent informing the Dhaka Metropolitan Police Commissioner about when the rally will be held in which zone.
The eight zones of Dhaka Metropolitan South are – Motijheel and Paltan. Shahbagh and Ramana. Sutrapur, Gendaria and Warri. Lalbagh, Chawkbazar and Kamrangirchar. Kadmatoli and Shyampur. Jatrabari and Demra. Dhanmondi, Kalabagan, Hazaribagh and Newmarket. Sabujbagh, Khilgaon and Mugda.
The eight zones of Dhaka Metropolitan North are Uttara Purva, Uttara Khan and Dakshin Khan. Uttara West, Turag, Airport, Khilkhet. Pallavi, Rupnagar and Bhashantek. Badda, Bhatara and Rampura. Mirpur, Shah Ali, Darussalam and Kafrul. Mohammadpur, Adabar and Sherbangla Nagar. Gulshan Banani and Cantonment. Tejgaon, Tejgaon Industrial Area and Hatirjheel.
In the letter given to the Dhaka Metropolitan Police Commissioner, North BNP mentioned that it has been decided to hold a peaceful rally from September 11 to September 27. Each rally will start from 3:00 p.m. North BNP has sought the cooperation of the DMP Commissioner in this regard. Besides, the security of the activists and permission to use the microphone has been requested.
