The body of a man named Muhammad Ali (55) has been recovered by the police from outside the boundary wall of Bakshibazar Mor Buet of Shahbag police station in the capital.

The body was recovered at around 10:30 am on Friday (September 9) and sent to DMK morgue for post-mortem.

Shahbagh police sub-inspector (SI) Md. Shahriar confirmed the matter to Jago News and said that we got the information on (999) phone and recovered the melted body of a person from outside the boundary wall of Bakshibazar Mor Buet. After the legal process, the body was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy. Initially, it is believed that he fell ill two to three days ago and died there.

He also said that the deceased was intoxicated from the people of the area. He lived as a vagabond in the area. Two or three days ago he fell ill and died at any time. However, the exact cause of death will be known after receiving the post-mortem report.
