To play in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup to be held in South Africa, the Bangladesh women’s cricket team will have to clear the qualifying round. Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced the strong team to play in the qualifying round today (September 04).

A total of eight countries including Bangladesh will participate in the qualifiers. The two teams will play in the World Cup in February next year. The qualifying matches will be held from September 14 to 26.

Bangladesh are in Group ‘A’. Where they got Ireland, Scotland and USA as opponents. Group ‘B’ has Thailand, Zimbabwe, Papua New Guinea and United Arab Emirates.

Bangladesh Match Schedule:
18 September, opponents Ireland.
19 September, opponents Scotland.
21 September, opponent USA.

The Bangladesh team will camp in Abu Dhabi to get the expected results in the qualifiers. The women’s team will fly to Dubai on September 8. The women’s camp will continue there till September 13.

Hosts South Africa, defending champions Australia, England, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, West Indies and New Zealand have so far qualified for the main stage of the T20 World Cup.
