In Raipura of Narsingdi, a young woman (18) stayed at the house of a lover named Sami (18) demanding to divorce her husband and get married. He stayed at his lover’s house in Hasimpur 4th Ward area of the municipality on Saturday at 10 am.
Locals said that three months ago, the girl got married to a boy from the same village with the consent of both the families. But while studying at a local school, the young woman developed a love relationship with Sami four years ago. Even after marriage, she used to communicate regularly with Sami on her mobile phone in the absence of her husband. Village arbitration was held several times.
Three days ago she left her husband’s house and moved to her father’s house by divorcing her husband as she did not want to marry him. Then on Saturday, he stayed at the lover’s house from his father’s house. Not finding a lover, he is demanding marriage. The lover’s family locked the house and left after the incident. That lover also disappeared.
Not finding a lover, the lover sat on hunger strike in the kitchen demanding marriage. Lasts till evening. This created excitement among the public in the area from morning to day. At this time, the locals gathered at Sami’s house.
The young woman staying at her boyfriend’s house said that she has a long-term love relationship with Sami. He was brought before me. I used to talk to him constantly even after marriage. I left my husband’s house to get married and came home. I will die if I don’t get him, I want him.
