Dhaka: BNP leader Engineer Ishrak Hossain has warned that the liberation war will be fought again if necessary to bring back democracy.
He gave this warning at a protest rally organized in Narayanganj in Narayanganj on Saturday (September 3) afternoon.
Ishrak mentioned that we entered the field knowing that such disappearances, murders and killings will be carried out by the government.
Questioning the Awami League about mourning in August, the month of mourning, he said that their suffering is only suffering, and our suffering is not suffering. If their people die, we will mourn for the whole month but who will answer for the killing of our leaders and workers like birds. He is not a citizen of Bangladesh. He is not a people. He has no right to protest.
Ishraq strongly criticized the statements of Awami League leaders whether he was really a Jubo Dal worker after he was shot dead by the police in Narayanganj.
He said, they have become so politically bankrupt that they are now questioning the political identity of the deceased Shaon.
At that time, Ishrak warned the government and said that if necessary, another liberation war will be held to expel this government from its illegal power. In any case, he also expressed his conviction to return the rights of the people to the people and bring back democracy in the country.
