These are Kutupalong Shelter (Camp-3), Lambashia Shelter (Camp-4) and Kutupalong Registered Shelter (Camp-1 West). 3 thousand 922 people were affected in Camp-3 camp, 956 people in Camp-4 camp and 707 people in Camp-1 West camp.

According to the information of the District Civil Surgeon office, the number of dengue patients in the district till August this year is 12 thousand 246. Among them 11 thousand 658 Rohingya people and 558 local people. So far 24 people have died due to dengue. Among them 22 Rohingya and 2 locals.

Rohingya Karim Ullah of D16 Block in Kutupalong Shelter Camp (Camp-3) said that several ditches coming down from the mountain inside the camp have been filled with garbage for a long time. Water accumulates with dirt and stinks. Aedes mosquito is born. Karim Ullah said that his four-year-old daughter Jisma died due to dengue due to mosquito bites. She was admitted to Cox’s Bazar Sadar Hospital after she developed fever. The girl died there after vomiting blood.
