RAB arrested Sanjana’s father from Gafargaon in Mymensingh on Wednesday (August 31) afternoon.
Sanjana Mosaddek jumped from the roof of a 12-story building in Dakshinkhan Mollartek area on Saturday (August 27) at noon. Police recovered his body around 7 pm. In this incident, Sanjana’s mother became a plaintiff and filed a case against her husband.
Sanjana’s father Shaheen Alam remarried five years ago without informing them. When the matter became known, tension started between the two families. Then Sanjana’s mother divorced her husband two months ago. Shaheen Sanjanar stopped paying university semester fees and incidental expenses.
Meanwhile, Sanjana wrote a note blaming her father before committing suicide. The note was recovered by Dakshinkhan Thana police.
