A cultural program and certificate distribution from the book reading program of the National Book Center was organized by the ‘Gyan Vikshan’ Library.
Director of National Book Center Kabi Minar Mansoor, Ward No. 48 Councilor Haji Abul Kalam Anu, Assistant Professor of Geography Department of Dhaka University participated in the discussion in the program organized in the capital on Saturday. Sarmin Sultana, President of Daniya Library Shahnewaz, President of Knowledge Library Sabera Sultana and General Secretary Sabiha Sultana.
10 members of the Gnanavikshan Library participated in the three-month continuous reading program titled ‘Read Bangabandhu’s Book, Sonar Manhoo Hoi’ organized by the National Library Center with the participation of hundreds of libraries on the occasion of Mujib Centenary.
A total of 10 members of Knowledge Library at school, college and graduate levels participated in the lecture organized from September 23 to December 16, 2021 and successfully received certificates.
Today, the friends of the library received certificates from the National Library from the hands of the participants.
The slogan of Gnanavikshan Library is ‘Practice of the beauty of mind’. Along with the pursuit of knowledge, we practice Bengali culture and all that is good and benevolent in the world. We know that the nation that reads more books, the nation is more advanced in mind, we organize regular reading sessions on this theme. Apart from this, they also practice singing, dancing and reciting. Sabera Saltana, president of the organization, said that they came to the world to do something for the future generations of the world.
The general secretary of the organization Sabiha Sulatana said, this initiative is our effort. Their aim is to make our future generation smart and intelligent citizens of international standards.
