In Khulna Police Sabotage case, the court framed charges against former general secretary of Sonadanga Thana BNP SM Asaduzzaman Murad and 48 activists.

Thursday (September 1) Khulna Divisional Special Judge Court Judge Dr. Ohiduzzaman Shikder made this charge.

It is known that during the morning-evening strike on October 12, 2017, the police filed a case in Sonadanga police station on charges of eviction of the government, destructive activities in KPI area and gathering for sabotage. Sonadanga police station SI Sajith Kumar Biswas has named 20/25 unknown persons as defendants in the case.

On October 15, 2018, SI Rohit Kumar Biswas of Sonadanga police station submitted the investigation report of the case. In this, 48 ​​people including the former general secretary of Sonadanga police station BNP SM Asaduzzaman Murad were made accused in the charge sheet.

Confirming the fact that the complaint has been framed, advocate Golam Mawla said that the complaint has been framed for trial under Section 15 (3)/25 of the Special Powers Act, 1974. Advocate Lutful Kabir Nowroz appeared for the state in the charge-sheet hearing.
