RAB has arrested the father Shaheen Alam of Sanjana Musaddika, a student of BRAC University in Dakshinkhan, in the case of inciting her suicide. RAB’s Legal and Media Wing Assistant Director ASP Al Amin said that a RAB team arrested him yesterday afternoon from Gafargaon area of ​​Mymensingh. He said that after the incident, Shaheen Alam, father of the accused in the case, fled from Dhaka and went into hiding in Gafargaon, Mymensingh. In view of the case filed by Sanjana’s mother, RAB started the operation along with the police. At one stage he was arrested on the basis of secret information.
Sanjana Mosaddika jumped from the roof of a 10-storey building in Dakshinkhan Mollartek area on August 27 at noon. The police recovered his body around 7 pm. Sanjana’s mother filed a case as the plaintiff in this incident. The student’s father, Shaheen Alam, was accused in the case. Before committing suicide, Sanjana wrote a suicide note against her father Shaheen Islam. which mentions ‘My father is responsible for my death. Can live with animals in a house. But not with Inhumans. A tyrannical rapist who doesn’t even spare his maid. I am the beginning of his miserable fate.’
