The 16th edition of ‘Bangladesh Denim Expo’, one of the leading international exhibitions in the world of denim, is going to be held on May 6 and 7. This year’s exhibition has been organized at Bashundhara International Convention City of Dhaka. The theme of this year’s edition is ‘Reimagine’.
Mostafiz Uddin, founder and chief executive officer of Bangladesh Denim Expo, said, “We have chosen ‘Reimagine’ as the theme of Bangladesh Denim Expo. Because it not only signifies the transformation of the denim industry, but also redefines the mainstream of denim.”
He further said, besides creating visionary and groundbreaking experiences about denim by breaking out of the conventional norms, potential areas are being explored in this industry. From sustainable practices to cutting-edge design techniques, Denim Expo is revolutionizing the denim industry.
The Bangladesh Denim Expo will have several panel discussions, trend seminars and a trend zone along with the opening ceremony. Various innovative denim products will be showcased in the trend zone of Bangladesh Denim Expo.
More than 60 institutions from 11 countries including Bangladesh, India, China, Pakistan, Turkey, Italy, France, Spain, Switzerland, Vietnam, Japan will participate in this two-day exhibition.
These include denim fabric mills and non-denim, apparel manufacturing establishments, washing laundry, accessories and trims, chemicals, machinery or technology and logistics categories.
