A new committee of Bogra Journalists Forum (BJF) has been formed for two years (2024-2026). This committee was formed in a ceremony organized by the former president of the organization Ferdous Mamun in a hotel in the capital on Friday afternoon (April 26).
Adviser Uttam Chakraborty (Janakantha), Forum Adviser Rana Hasan (Kalbela) and former President of Dhaka Reporters Unity Saiful Islam (Baishakhi TV) gave welcome speech.
At the beginning of the program, a minute’s silence was observed on the death of senior advisor late freedom fighter Syed Ahmed Atal. Then Rana Hasan announced the names of the newly formed committee members. Former general secretary Suman Pramanik gave a welcome speech on the occasion.
The members of the newly formed committee are- President: Ehsan Parvez Tuhin (News Daily), Vice-President-Prateek Ijaz (Dash Transformation), Suman Pramanik (Dainik Nagrik Sanbad), General Secretary- Md. Habibur Rahman (71 TV), Joint Editor: Shawon Mahfuz ( NTN News), Shamima Akhter (Deepta TV), Organizational Editor- Faisal Titumir (BBC Bangla), Finance Editor- Belal Hossain (Amar Sangbad), Education and Culture Editor- Apoorva Rubel (Voice of Kaler), Publicity and Publication Editor- Ahmed Jewel (Bangla News), Women Affairs Editor- Babli Yasmin (ATN News), Department Editor- Mamun Ur Rashid (Janakantha), Sports Editor- Humayan Kabir Rose (Akhan TV), Social Welfare Editor- Rezaul Karim (Business Standard).
