State Minister for Disaster Management and Relief. Mohibbur Rahman said, ‘Disaster Ministry provides services not only in Bangladesh but also abroad. Today heatwave is going on all over the country. In that regard, we have already discussed with the parliamentary standing committee and taken necessary measures. The Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief will start working within two days.
He said these things in response to various questions from journalists after paying respects at the tomb of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Tungipara in Gopalganj on Friday (April 26) afternoon.
The state minister said that not only heat, but the disaster ministry stands by the people in any disaster including earthquake, flood and cyclone. We are working, we will continue to work. Our work will continue.
Earlier reaching Tungipara, the state minister paid tribute to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s mausoleum with flowers. Later, he participated in a special prayer for the reading of Fateha, seeking forgiveness for the souls of Bangabandhu and his martyred family members. After paying tribute, the State Minister said. Mohibbur Rahman wrote comments and signed the inspection book kept in the administrative building of Bangabandhu Samadhi Soudh.
