One of the two sisters who got electrocuted on the roof in Sylhet has died

One of the two sisters died after being electrocuted on the roof of the house while visiting her brother-in-law’s house in Majumdari area of ​​Sylhet city. Another is under treatment in the ICU of the hospital in a critical condition.

Samia Rahman (18) died while undergoing treatment at the Sheikh Hasina National Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute on Friday afternoon. She is the daughter of Abdul Quddus of Barail village of Biyanibazar upazila. And under treatment in ICU is Sadia Jannat Eva (20), daughter of Sahel Ahmad of Balinga village of the same upazila. They are both college students and cousins.

Samia and Eva visit their cousin’s house. Last Wednesday afternoon, when they were fetching clothes from the roof of the house, Samia got entangled in the electric wire near the roof. Eva was electrocuted while trying to save him. Samia was sent to Dhaka Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery that night in critical condition. Eva was later sent to the same hospital.

Samia’s cousin Dipu Ahmed said that Samia died while undergoing treatment at the Sheikh Hasina National Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute at around 2.30 pm on Friday. And Eva is under treatment in ICU. His condition is critical.
