Own Representative, Dhaka:Alla magh de, pani de….’. For now, the whole Bangladeshi people have such an aarti like chatak bird. As the clock ticked, the heat became unbearable. On top of that, the humidity is increasing the discomfort. The mercury in Chuadanga crossed 42.7 degrees Celsius on Friday. Which is the highest temperature in the country this season. In addition, a consecutive heat wave broke the 76-year record. According to meteorologists, such weather vagaries are unusual.

The heat wave started across the country from the beginning of this month. On April 6, the temperature crossed 40 degrees Celsius for the first time this season. Although it decreased a little later, it has been continuously above 40 degrees since April 13. That means the heat wave has been going on for 26 consecutive days. . Last year i.e. 2023 there were 16 consecutive days of heat wave. In the last 76 years, there has not been such a continuous heat wave. Meteorologists believe that excess water vapor has accumulated due to high pressure. As a result, there may be heavy rains this year.

Except for Sylhet division, heat wave is going on in the whole country. Normal life has been disrupted due to continuous heat waves. As the day wore on, it became impossible to go out on the streets. There are reports of death due to heat stroke from different districts of the country. Meteorologists could not say anything clearly about when the heat wave will be relieved. Rather, it has been predicted that the heat wave will continue till May 3-4. After that light rain is likely.
