‘Pakistan appreciates the development of Bangladesh, but the opposition doesn’t see it’

Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader commented that Pakistan appreciates the development of Bangladesh but the opposition party does not see it.

He said this at a press briefing at the political office of the Awami League president in Dhanmondi on Friday (26 April).

Obaidul Quader said: Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif was ashamed to see the progress and height of Bangladesh. At that time, East Pakistan seemed like a burden to them. Now that load has progressed a lot. He was embarrassed by the development.

He said: BNP has much to learn from the words of Shahbaz Sharif as much as they spread misinformation.

He also said: Pakistan appreciates the development of Bangladesh but the opposition does not see the development. They see the darkness of the night in the light of day. They are showing such low mentality about the development of the country. They should understand the reality from the speech of the Prime Minister of Pakistan.

Awami League General Secretary said: The whole world is in a terrible situation of war. We watch with concern as Russia-Ukraine, Israel-Palestine-Hamas heat up the world. Ignoring world opinion, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu launched an aggressive campaign in Rafah.

He said: In this situation, our leader is playing a vocal role against war. Called all world leaders to stand against all kinds of aggression and say no to this war.
