Dhaka: On the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, 9 temporary animal markets are going to be set up in the Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) area. Apart from this, sacrificial animals will also be bought and sold at Gabtali permanent market in North City.
Ahead of the Eid al-Adha, a festive atmosphere centered around animal markets will be created in the capital. Various animals including cows and goats from different parts of the country are brought for sale in the markets of the capital. Animal markets become busy with the presence of buyers and sellers. To add more dimension to all such events, on the occasion of this year’s Eid-ul-Azha, haats are going to be set up at different places in the capital.
The market will sit in the 9th place
In addition to Gabtali permanent haat, Dhaka North City Corporation will set up 9 more temporary haats. For that purpose they have published the lease notice of huts.
This time temporary haats include – Vatara Sutivola Canal Adjacent Vacant (Vatara Sutivola), Kaola Sealdanga Adjacent Vacant, Uttara Diabari Sector 16 & 18 Bau Bazar Area Vacant, Badda Eastern Housing Aftabnagar Block E, F, G, H, L , M, N and Surroundings, Mirpur Section 6 Ward No. 6 (Eastern Housing) Vacant Land, Mohammadpur Bachilhar 40 Feet Road Adjoining Vacant Land, Dhaka Polytechnic Institute Vacant Land, Ward No. 44 Kanchkura Beparipara Rahman Nagar Residential Project Land and Plot Vacant area of neighborhood adjacent to Mastul Checkpost of Police Station Ward No. 43.
What is the price of any market?
A cleaning fee of 10 percent of the government lease price of each temporary haat in the area under North City has to be paid. The government value of the vacant land adjacent to the Bhatara Sutivola canal (Bhatara Sutivola) has been fixed at 3 crore 70 lakhs. Besides, the non-negotiable schedule price is 74 thousand 600 taka.
The market value of vacant land adjacent to Kaola Sealdanga is estimated at 1 crore 37 lakh 500 taka and the schedule price is 28 thousand 100 taka.
Uttara Diabari, Sector 16 and 18, Bau Bazar area, the market value of the vacant market has been estimated at Tk 6 crore and the schedule price at Tk 1 lakh 20 thousand 600.
Badda Eastern Housing Aftabnagar Block E, F, G, H, L, M, N and surrounding area market price is estimated at 1 crore 74 lakh two thousand 727 taka and the schedule price is taka 35 thousand 500.
Mirpur Section 6 Ward Number 6 (Eastern Housing) vacant lot price is 1 crore 37 lakh 62 thousand 460 taka and schedule price is 28 thousand 200 taka.
The government price of the vacant lot adjacent to the 40 feet road of Mohammadpur Bachila is Tk 2 crore 20 lakh and the schedule price is Tk 44 thousand 600.
The market price of vacant space adjacent to Dhaka Polytechnic Institute is 60 lakh 70 thousand taka and the schedule price is 12 thousand 800 taka.
Ward number 44 Kanchkura Beparipara Rahman Nagar residential project land price is 16 lakh 50 thousand taka and schedule price is 3 thousand 900 taka.
The market price of the empty space in the neighborhood adjacent to Mastul Checkpost of Ward No. 43 of Khilkhet police station is 30 lakh 21 thousand taka and the schedule price is 6 thousand 700 taka.
Chief property officer of Dhaka North City Corporation. Mohammad Mahe Alam said, initially we published the lease notice for setting up these nine huts. However, the authority can cancel or add any hut.
He also said that we are also working to encourage buyers and sellers of animal markets to buy and sell animals online. Withdrawals, sending and transfers are initiated using the vendor’s online platform and ATM booths.
