Advisor to BNP Chairperson and former Opposition Chief Whip of Jatiya Sangsad Zainul Abedin Farooq commented that Bangladesh did not become independent for accepting the slavery of Delhi.

Addressing India, he said, the people of Bangladesh are socially preparing to oppose you for hegemony, aggression, killing democracy. Because the people of Bangladesh fought barefoot to liberate the country in 1971, Rawal was freed from Pindi not to accept the slavery of Delhi.

He said these things in a position program in protest against the killing of Bangladeshi civilians on the border and Indian aggression on the occasion of the Democracy Forum in front of the National Press Club on Friday.

Zainul Abedin Farooq said in the position program, I saw in a newspaper, poisoning was found in 527 products of India. The European Union has banned them. In another paper, two of their drugs were found to contain cancer compounds. Singapore, Hong Kong have closed them.

Even today, a person was shot dead on the border, he said, if you are a friend, if you are our beloved person, if you are our neighbor, then why are you always shooting at the border? So today the people of Bengal, the people of Bangladesh have started fighting for democracy.

This leader of BNP said, we are not against the people of India, we want to be friends of India. But a friend who exploits us, a friend who does not give us a fair share of tipi, can he be a friend? Can never be friends. So we want to boycott Indian products and say, stop border killings, avoid aggressive policy, stop naked interference in Bangladesh politics. Because there will be democracy in your country, and you will make sure that there is no democracy in my country, the people of Bengal will never accept it.

At this time he said to the activists that we do not accept aggression. We do not accept border killings. We will boycott Indian products this social movement should be delivered door to door.

Addressing Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader, he said, “Aren’t you ashamed?” As the ruling party said, there is a conspiracy of BNP in all cases. Do we want to come to power by conspiracy? You (Awami League) came to power by conspiracy. You created One Eleven. With Moin-Fakhruddin, you have fought in the darkness of the night. We (BNP) do not believe in conspiracy. My leader does not believe in conspiracies. My leader Tariq Rahman wants to come to power, one head one vote, with the people, not by conspiracy.
