For the first time, the Bangladesh and Chinese armies held a joint war exercise. On Thursday, China’s state media Xinhua and newspaper People’s Daily reported that the joint exercise was organized in early May.

According to the published news, the joint military training has been organized in the coming May with the aim of increasing the range of cooperation and practical exchange between the two countries in the field of defense. A team of Chinese Pills Liberation Army (PLA) will go to Bangladesh to participate in the joint exercise for this purpose.

Some of the military observers believe that New Delhi’s anxiety will increase in China-Bangladesh first war exercise. However, the Narendra Modi government has given a moderate response to this. External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Ranveer Jaiswal said at the weekly press conference on Thursday, “We keep an eye on all kinds of incidents in our neighboring countries or elsewhere. Especially the kind of events that can affect our economy and security.”
