In three separate raids in Chittagong, a case was filed against the owners of 26 vehicles on various charges including not having a license, driving a vehicle without registration, riding a motorcycle without a helmet. At the same time, the mobile court of Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) imposed a fine of 85 thousand five hundred taka and dumping of two vehicles.

On Thursday (April 25) afternoon, these raids were conducted in Rangunia area of ​​Chittagong-Kaptai regional highway, Patia bypass of Chittagong-Cox’s Bazar highway and Faujdarhat area of ​​Dhaka-Chittagong highway.

According to BRTA sources, Rangunia Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Marjan Hossain led the operation in Rangunia. He fined 5 thousand five hundred rupees on 9 vehicles. Patia Upazila Executive Officer led the operation in Patia Bypass. Alauddin Bhuiyan Johnny. He fined the owners of two vehicles Tk 20,000 for lack of fitness. Also ordered to dump two unfit Lagunas.

On the other hand, Mishkatul Tamanna, Executive Magistrate of Mobile Court-12 of BRTA Chittagong Division led the operation in Faujdarhat area. Meanwhile, he fined 60,000 taka to the owners of 15 vehicles.
