Schoolboy jumps from the 8th floor after quarreling with his sister, scolded by his father

A school student named Arpan Karmakar (16) died after jumping from the eighth floor of a house in Shankharibazar, Kotwali, capital. Arpan was a 10th class student of Collegiate High School. The incident happened on Thursday (April 25) around 4 pm.

Later, he was rescued and taken to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at around 5:30 pm by the doctor on duty.

Arpan Karmakar’s father Dipankar Karmakar said, Arpan was scolded at one stage of the conversation with his sister on a trivial matter, he insulted me and jumped from the 8th floor of the house and got seriously injured. We quickly rescued him with serious injuries and took him to a nearby hospital. When he was taken to Dhaka Medical for better treatment, the doctor declared him dead.

He also said that their house is in the Nagarpur police station area of ​​Tangail district. They live on the sixth floor of a house in Kailas Ghosh Lane, Kotwali.
