According to the report, the Pakistani Prime Minister said on Wednesday, ‘When I was quite young, we were told that it (Bangladesh) is a burden on our shoulders. Today you all know where that burden has reached. When we look at them (Bangladesh) we feel ashamed.’

A question and answer session was held after Prime Minister Shahbaz’s speech at the exchange meeting. There, the businessmen praised the recent steps of the Shahbaz-led government and made several demands.

Businessmen also suggested adopting several economic policies to achieve the expected results. They urged the Prime Minister to develop trade relations with India.

On the other hand, the business representatives in the meeting requested for reconciliation with the imprisoned Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Imran Khan for political stability in Pakistan.
