3 on 3 basketball tournament closing and prize distribution in Rajshahi

Funded and managed by Bangladesh Basketball Federation and in collaboration with Rajshahi District Sports Association, the closing and prize distribution ceremony was held after the final game of Independence Day Three on Three Basketball Tournament at Rajshahi District Gymnasium on Thursday.

Rajshahi City Corporation Ward No. 8 Honorable Councilor Jane Alam Johnny was present as the chief guest, Rasheduzzaman Rashed former basketball player and captain, national basketball team was present as a special guest in the event.

Honorable Vice President of Bangladesh Basketball Federation and Convener of District Premier Division Basketball League Mr. Md. Khairul Alam Farhad presided over the program.

In the final two teams participated Eaglets Club vs Bulls. The Eaglets club did not earn the glory of being champions by getting 21 points and the Bulls were runners-up by getting 7 points. The chief guest presented medals and crests to the champion and runner-up teams. The best basketball player in the game Abu Harish Sihab and the best emerging player Russel Hossain. On the occasion, President Khairul Alam Farhad presented the chief guest Jaane Alam Jani with a commemorative crest and also presented the crest to the special guest.

The scoring of the game was done by Rajshahi district team former player, coach, and national basketball referee Kamal, and district basketball coach Mr. Rakibul Islam. Officials and distinguished persons of Rajshahi District Sports Association. The program was conducted by Vipul Hasan, Rajshahi Divisional Sports Association.
