After being closed for a week due to heatwave across the country, the order to open educational institutions from April 28 has been issued. According to the order, classes will continue on Saturday, a weekend day. The Ministry of Education issued a notification in this regard on Thursday (April 25).

According to the notification of the Department of Secondary and Higher Education, due to the heat wave following the holy Eid-ul-Fitr holiday, the decision was made to resume class activities in educational institutions after the holiday declared by the Department of Secondary and Higher Education on April 20. Educational institutions will be open as usual from Sunday, April 28 and class activities will continue. The assembly will remain closed until the heat flux is tolerable.

According to the notification, the part of the class activities which are conducted outside the classroom and the activities which require exposure to sunlight, those activities will be limited. Class activities will continue on Saturday till further instructions are given to meet the learning gap created due to closure of class activities due to heat wave and other reasons and to achieve learning outcomes as per the new curriculum.
