Istiska Namaz of Combined Ulama Mashaikh Parishad in Barisal

Salatul Istiska was offered in the central Asmat Ali Khan Institute (AK School) grounds of Barisal city on Thursday morning with the participation of devout Muslims under the overall management of the Combined Ulama Mashaikh Parishad.
In the recent scorching heat, people from all walks of life, especially low-income people, children, old people, plants, fruits and even forest animals are waiting for rain. In this situation, Istiska prayers are held at the call of the collective Ulama Mashaikh Parishad. Convener of Combined Ulama Mashaek Parishad Barisal and Khatib Principal of Karim Kuti Jame Masjid Maulana Shahidul Islam, Member Secretary Principal Maulana Sohrab Hossain, Imam Hafez Maulana Kamal Uddin Maini of Jame Kassai Mosque, Ward No. 9 Councilor Humayun Kabir Liku, AK School Managing Committee addressed the gathering. President Advocate Golam Masood Bablu, Freedom Forum Barisal Branch Convener Nurul Amin and others.
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Central Working Council member and Barisal Metropolitan Amir Principal Zahir Uddin Mu were present in Istiska prayer. Babur and Metropolitan Secretary Maulana Matiur Rahman, eminent educationist Master Mizanur Rahman, Principal Aminul Islam Khosru, Professor Maulana Habibur Rahman, Nasrakari Syed Hatim Ali College Mosque Imam and Khatib Maulana Nurullah.
Khatib Hafez Maulana Kamal Uddin Moini of Central Jama Masjid performed the duty of imam in the prayer. Local teachers, politicians, scholars, Ulama, Madrasa students and common people from all walks of life participated in Istiska Namaz.
