Dhaka: There may be rain with thunderstorm over Chittagong and Sylhet divisions. Along with that, the vapsa heat will increase.
The Meteorological Office has given such a forecast on Thursday (April 25).
Meteorologist Md. Shahinul Islam said that the low pressure area is located in West Bengal and adjoining areas.
Temporarily gusty/gusty winds with rain/thundershowers may occur at two places in Chittagong and Sylhet divisions till Friday (April 26) morning along with scattered hail at some places. Elsewhere in the country, the weather will remain mainly dry with partly cloudy sky.
Khulna division including Dinajpur, Nilphamari, Rajshahi, Pabna, Faridpur and Gopalganj districts are experiencing severe heat waves. Mild to moderate heat wave is prevailing over Barisal division including Mymensingh, Moulvibazar, Rangamati, Chandpur, Noakhali, Feni and Bandarban districts and remainder of Rangpur, Rajshahi and Dhaka divisions and will continue. Day and night temperatures may remain almost unchanged across the country. And there will be discomfort due to the excess of water vapor.
From Friday morning to Saturday (April 27) morning, rain/thundershower with gusty/stormy winds may occur at two places over Sylhet division along with isolated hailstorm at isolated places. Elsewhere in the country, the weather will remain mainly dry with partly cloudy sky. The existing heat flow may continue. Day and night temperatures will remain almost unchanged across the country. Excess water vapor may cause discomfort.
From Saturday morning to Sunday (April 28) morning, two or two places of Sylhet division are likely to experience rain/thunder with gusty winds and scattered hail at some places. Elsewhere in the country, the weather will remain mainly dry with partly cloudy sky. The existing heat flow will continue. Day temperatures may rise slightly across the country and night temperatures will remain almost unchanged. There will be discomfort due to the excess of water vapor. Towards the end of the extended five days, the trend of rainfall may increase over the northeastern parts of the country.
