Professor Narayan applied in writing to the then chairman of the board on January 25, 2023, seeking exemption from all the secret activities of the examination as his child was a candidate for HSC 2023. Based on his application, the then Board Chairman issued an office order in this regard on February 12 of the same year, vide Memorandum No. Chashibo/ Prasha-2/ Jena-5/ 95 (Part-32)/ Office Order (Other)/ 156(7), dated : 12/2/23. The moment the HSC exam was over, the ministry removed Professor Narayan as the controller of the exam and posted him as the secretary of the board. As a result, even though he had nothing to do with the results of the HSC examination, he was accused of absenteeism by former colleagues who were embittered due to previous conflicts.

It is to be noted that Professor Narayan Chandra Nath’s son Nakshatra Debnath passed the 2023 HSC examination with GPA-5. He gets A-plus in all subjects except Bengali. But with an A-plus in the fourth subject, his overall result was GPA-5. But due to not getting A-plus in Bengal, when his family went to apply for re-examination as per the rules of the board, they found that someone had already applied for all the subjects. Concerned about this incident, mother Bansree Nath made a general diary (GD) on 4 December 2023 at Panchlaish police station.

Reference is made to the GD to identify the person who has applied for re-examination. Later, Panchlaish police investigated and found that the mobile number of the former secretary of the board, Professor Mohammad Abdul Alim, was given as a reference in the re-inspection application. Since the two had been in the same workplace for a long time in the Chittagong Education Board, there was an open and private conflict between them, the ripples of which spilled over the HSC results of Professor Narayan’s son. Bansree Nath filed a case under the Cyber ​​Crime Act after the police investigated the GD incident and submitted a report to the court. The case is now under police counter-terrorism investigation.

Due to Professor Narayan, a positive working environment has been created in the Chittagong Education Board, the beneficiaries including the officers and employees working in the board. It is possible because of his efficient, competent and dynamic leadership. However, many people think that an outside group who previously served on this board for different terms have come up to destroy the image of Professor Narayan. The gang members are desperate to get back on board. Their main objective is to prevent Professor Narayan Chandra Nath from becoming the Chairman of the Chittagong Education Board. If this vile vicious cycle inside and outside the board is identified through investigation, all the stakeholders associated with this education board will be its beneficiaries.

Several senior professors of government colleges said that Professor Narayan has no involvement with the preparation of HSC results of 2023. Because, he was exempted from all the responsibilities related to examination by applying in writing and office order was also issued based on his application. Secondly, he was removed from the position of Controller of Examinations and made Secretary of the Board before the results of the examination were announced. As a result, making fictitious or invisible allegations against him is sad and purposeful.

The senior teachers said that the exam results are not prepared by the exam controller. The Controller of Examinations only supervises. The senior system analysts and programmers employed in the computer cell are directly involved in the creation of the results. There is no opportunity for the secretary to be involved in this work in the Education Board Act.

Senior teachers also said that what actually happened inside the board was well known to the complainants and board officials involved in producing the results. However, if counter-terrorism also identifies the masterminds and reports to the court, the mask of the miscreants will be exposed. Otherwise, these ugly accusations and counter-accusations will never end.
Professor Narayan Chandra Nath said in this context that a nefarious circle is constantly maligning him. This underworld is patronized by a handful of people whom everyone knows. Rumors of latest result fraud have been rife. But he was not involved in any way in the process of producing results.

The former chairman of Chittagong Education Board, Professor Pradeep Chakraborty, also thinks that a group is involved in illegal activities against Professor Narayan Chandra Nath. While on the board, they have tried to obstruct him in every work. Basically, to destroy the public trust that has been built on the education board, this circle is making all-out efforts to accuse the current secretary with fabricated charges. He commented that the matter is very unintended and far-reaching.
