Bangladesh Hormone Day is celebrated for the first time

MediVoice reports: Bangladesh Hormone Day was celebrated for the first time in the country. Today Wednesday (April 24) the day was celebrated at the organization’s office under the initiative of Association of Endocrinologists and Diabetologists of Bangladesh (ACADB).

On this occasion, ACADB organized a press conference in Hatirpool of the capital at noon.

At this time, the president of the organization, Professor Dr. Farid Uddin Ahmed. Sir Salimullah Medical College and Mitford Hospital Head of Endocrinology Department Professor Dr. AKM Aminul Islam, Bangladesh Endocrine Society and ACADB Secretary Professor Dr. Indrajit Prasad.

Stating that ACADB will work for the national interest, Professor Farid said that the aim of the organization is to spread hope and create confidence among people about hormone treatment.

Highlighting the capacity of hormone treatment in the country, he said, there is no need to go outside the country for hormone treatment.

He also said, ‘Common people do not understand hormones, we organized this first hormone day in the country to make common people aware through our association.’

Dr. emphasizes the importance of awareness about hormones. Farid Uddin said, ‘It controls everything from reproductive power to human intelligence, growth. But we don’t know that. No one is having children, we are running to the gynecologist. But one of the reasons is hormones. Children are doing poorly in school, and the solution is increasing the number of private tutors at home. We are not aware that the child’s intelligence is being lost due to hormone deficiency.’

Dr. at the event. Indrajit Prasad said that three crore people in the country are suffering from various hormonal diseases but they are not aware about it.

He said that due to the lack of thyroid or hormones, children have problems related to intellectual development, and because of this, the future generation is under threat. At this time, Professor Dr. urged the common people to be aware of various hormonal problems in the formation of Smart Bangladesh by the Prime Minister. Indrajit Prasad.

AKM Aminul Islam, treasurer of the association said that common people are obsessed with various superstitions about hormones. He said that all the flashy advertisements in newspapers and online to prevent diabetes are completely unscientific. Everyone should be aware of this.

Apart from this, Prof. Dr. ACADB, Head of Hormonal Department of Holy Crescent Medical College and Hospital gave a directive speech on various hormonal problems and their solutions.
