Police arrested four people including Bold Cutter and Tipchora while preparing for robbery in Chittagong. They were arrested on Tuesday (April 23) in front of Polo Ground High School under Kotwali police station in the city.
The arrested are – Mizanur Rahman Amit (22), son of deceased Abdul Jabbar of Battali village under Matiranga police station of Khagrachari hill district, Md. Kutubkhali village of Chanua union under Banshkhali police station of Chittagong. Son of Idris Ali. Riyad alias Riaz (32), Samrat (35) son of Chagir Ahmad of Alipur village under Hathajari police station and Gura Mia son of Gura Mia of Kaliapara village under Teknaf police station of Cox’s Bazar. Amin alias Abdul Amin (28).
Kotwali Police Station Superintendent (SI) Muhammad Musharraf Hossain confirmed the truth of the incident.
He told Jago News that four people were arrested in front of Pologround High School following a tip-off that a group of dacoits were preparing to commit a robbery. A bold cutter and two sharp knives were recovered from them. A case of robbery preparation has been registered against them.
SI Musharraf also said that the arrested have been sent to the court on Wednesday morning.
