Khulna: Undergraduate/Graduate (Honours) first year admission test for 2023-2024 academic year of 24 general and science and technology universities of the country will be held on April 27 and May 03 and 10.

A discussion meeting was held with the administration and law and order forces on Wednesday (April 24) noon in the conference room of Khulna University (Khubi) Shahid Tajuddin Ahmad Bhavan regarding the security measures and the general issues of the admission test.

The meeting was presided over by the vice-chancellor of Khubi. Mosammat Hosne Ara.

It was informed in the meeting that the admission test of ‘A’ (Science) unit in the first year of bachelor’s degree in cluster system will be held on April 27 from 12 noon to 1 am at Reverend Paul’s High School, Hope Polytechnic and Technical Institute and Deldar Ahmed Government Secondary School along with Khoobi campus.

On this day, 5 thousand 313 candidates have been allocated seats in the university campus, 957 candidates in Reverend Paul’s High School, 796 candidates in Hope Polytechnic and 1 thousand 820 candidates in Deldar Ahmed Government Secondary School. Also on this day from 3 pm to 4 pm special drawing exam will be held only in Khoobi campus on architecture. Next, admission test for ‘B’ unit on May 3 and ‘C’ unit on May 10 will be held from 11 am to 12 pm only at Khubi campus.

After discussing various aspects in the meeting, it was decided that the candidates will not be allowed to enter the batch admission test at Khubi Sub-centre with any kind of electronic devices, bags, books, including mobile phones. They should enter the campus in an orderly manner through the main gate of the university. No parent can enter the university campus. However, candidates who come before the specified time of the examination can enter the university campus and other examination centers. During the admission test, Gallamari Police will take measures to control the movement of all types of vehicles from Box Junction to Zero Point.

Vehicles with university stickers will be allowed to enter. Teachers, officers and employees of the University who use private vehicles have been advised to affix University monogrammed stickers on their vehicles. Additional police, intelligence agencies, RAB and security personnel in plain clothes will be responsible for maintaining security and order in the campus and outside the campus.
If you need to know about this exam or any other related matter, the Dean of Fine Arts School and Focal Point Professor of Admission Exam Dr. Nihar is requested to contact Ranjan Singh. No journalist will be allowed to enter the examination hall during the admission test, but representatives of electronic and print media are requested to contact the Director of Public Relations and Publications Department of the University in advance if they require information and images related to the admission test.
