Jimmabuye has announced a 15-member team for the tour of Bangladesh. The new face in the team is Jonathan Campbell. He is the son of former Zimbabwe captain Alastair Campbell. The 26-year-old left-handed batsman also does regular leg spin.

Top order batsman Tadiwanashe Marumani and pace bowler Faraz Ahmed have returned to Zimbabwe’s T20 squad. Apart from Campbell, there are no new faces in the team. The rest were in the squad for the T20 series against Sri Lanka last January.

Clive Madande and Brian Bennett of the Zimbabwe Emerging team, who won gold at the African Games last month, are in the team named Sikandar Raja as captain. Former Zimbabwean cricketer Stuart Matsikenyeri will be the coach of the team.

The five-match T20 series against Zimbabwe will start from May 3. The first three matches (May 3, 4 and 7) will be held at Zahoor Ahmed Stadium in Chittagong. Both teams will return to Dhaka to play the remaining two matches (May 10 and 12).

Zimbabwe T20 squad: Sikandar Raja (captain), Brian Bennett, Ryan Burl, Jonathan Campbell, Craig Irvine, Jaylord Gambi, Luke Jangwe, Clive Madande, Tadiwanashe Marumani, Wellington Masakadza, Ainsley Ndlovu, Richard Ngarava, Faraj Akram, Sean Williams And Blessing Mujarabani.
