People’s lives have been disrupted by the intense heat wave. A special prayer (Salatul Istiska) has been offered in Feni to pray for rain.
The prayer was held at Feni Al Jamiatul Falahia Kamil Madrasah grounds on Wednesday (April 24) around 11:00 am. Hundreds of worshipers from different areas of the city participated in it. Madrasa teacher Maulana Mufti Abdul Hannan led the prayer congregation.
At the end of the prayer, a prayer is made asking for the mercy of Almighty Allah for freedom from rain and heat. At this time, the worshipers shed tears and prayed for repentance and forgiveness.
The worshipers who came to pray said that common people are passing their days with great difficulty due to severe drought. There is no peace anywhere in the house and outside in the intense heat. That’s why we have all gathered to pray for rain in the hope of Allah’s mercy.
In his speech, Maulana Mufti Abdul Hannan said, people are suffering a lot due to prolonged violence. Allah says to ask for rain through prayer. That’s why we all gathered together and offered Salatul Istiska.
