It has been alleged that the opposing terrorists attempted to kill Md Khokon Howladar (60) and his wife Najma Begum (50) and daughter Chania Akhter (19) due to previous enmity in Ward No. 27 Indo Kathi area of Barisal.
This incident happened in front of his house at 10:30 am on Sunday.
The incident of beating three members of the same family has created a sensation in the area. The victim’s family demanded exemplary punishment for the terrorists.
The injured are currently undergoing treatment at Barisal Sher-e Bangla Medical College Hospital in critical condition.
According to injured sources, the day before the incident Khokon Howlader’s sister’s son had an argument with Jabbar Howlader’s son Saju. During the incident, when the opponents protested by verbally abusing Saju alias Sohail Najma and his two sisters’ sons-in-law, 4-5 unidentified terrorists tried to kill them in a planned manner with indigenous weapons.
Later the locals rescued the injured and immediately sent them to Shebachim.
The relatives of the injured also said that the preparation of the case is going on.
