In the brick-and-stone capital, public life has become miserable in the heat. Common people are looking for shelter under trees to get some relief in this intense heat. Wherever there are plants and a little quiet environment, people are crowding there.

On Tuesday (April 23) at 2:30 in the afternoon, ordinary people can be seen standing or sitting under trees resting around Dhaka University and its surrounding area including Suhrawardy Udyan in the capital.

There is no movement of people in the places where there are no trees and plants in the Suhrawardy Udyan of the capital and the ground is being heated by the scorching sun. But the opposite picture is in a shady place surrounded by trees. Crowds of people were seen in the garden area on the left side of the road from Shahbagh to Dhaka University and near the gate adjacent to the Engineer Institute.

Sheltering under a garden tree to escape the heat Many people say that there is no other way to escape from the intense heat than sheltering under a tree. So they are relieving some fatigue by sitting in a pleasant environment.

Talked with Hafizur Rahman in Suhrawardy Udyan. He said, I have lived in Dhaka for a long time. I don’t think I’ve ever seen it so hot before. There is no way to walk on the road in summer. It seems the street is on fire. Hot steam rising from the road. I find some peace here. I have been sitting for two hours, I don’t want to go home. It is difficult to find such a green environment in Dhaka. More trees should be planted here.

Hasanain Sabuj, another said, where to go in the summer! There is no place to go. Compared to the surrounding areas, Suhrawardy Udyan, DU Campus and Ramana Park are a little less hot. Because there are more plants here. A few minutes of walking down the road can make you sick. I am sitting here in peace.

Two girlfriends named Sanjida Ofrin and Sadia Jahan Anthi are sitting in the garden looking at the pages of the book. Sometimes they are also enjoying good stories. They told Jago News that it is difficult to stay in summer. I got sick yesterday in Vapsa summer. So I went to the park today. Sitting under a tree gives at least some peace. When running the fan in the room, it seems that hot air is coming out. It was possible to sit in a beautiful environment and also read a little book.
